How we do things

Our approach is essentially that we are farming soil; the believe is that if our soil is healthy with microbial life then everything after that will be easy.
No till
In a nutshell, this simply means we have stopped turning the soil, it also means loads of broadforking.
Compost
Wheel-barrows and shovels is all that can be said here.
Soil testing & mineralization
Every year & every block.
Season extension
Greenhouses & tunnels are absolutely worth every single cent; perhaps not right now but in general.
Beneficial insects
Ladybugs are ferocious, lacewings are awesome & don't mess with the Mantis.
Starting from seed
We start all of our produce from seed right here on the farm.
